Rev. Lesley Lindblad

President/Founder

Rev. Lesley D. Lindblad is an ordained minister, a trauma-informed leader and advocate for survivors of Domestic violence. She is the President/Founder of WOVEN Circle Inc. which works to create spiritually safe-spaces for survivors of gender-based violence.  She serves as a relief pastor, guest speaker and leads workshops to bring awareness to the problem of Domestic Violence for youth and adults in the Christian community.

Rev. Lindblad attended Virginia Commonwealth University, in Richmond, Virginia and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and minor in Sociology May 1996.  She attended Virginia State University in Petersburg, Virginia and graduated with a Master of Education specializing in Special Education.  In 2009, Rev. Lindblad responded to her call into ministry and enrolled at Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond in Henrico, Virginia and in partnership with Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia she graduated with a Master of Divinity in Justice and Peacebuilding in May 2014.  In addition to her ministerial life, Rev. Lindblad also holds a Postgraduate Professional License Specific Learning Disabilities K – 12 and works as a special education teacher in Petersburg, Virginia.

 WOVEN Circle Inc. provides pastoral care, education and assistance to survivors of gender-based violence and strives to inspire members of the Christian community to provide spiritually safe spaces for survivors.  By providing education and training to churches, congregations and other Christian organizations, WOVEN Circle Inc. hopes to enable such groups to provide a spiritually safe-space to survivors of violence. 

Rev. Lindblad currently lives in Glen Allen, Virginia and leads Bible studies on various topics in addition to post-abortion healing.  As a trauma-informed leader, Rev. Lindblad is particularly interested in breaking the cycle of violence through restorative justice.  She is passionate about building healthy communities that are safe for survivors to revitalize a relationship with Christ.  Rev. Lindblad’s current focus is bringing awareness to the difficulty of providing services to survivors of domestic violence in rural areas.
