Our Vision

The problem of gender-based violence requires multiple responses. Along with community organizations, church congregations can help in the healing process for survivors of gender-based violence. Survivors often feel shame or judgment from fellow church members relating biblical interpretation and lack of the survivor’s faith. Survivors often feel unwelcome in their church community and give up on finding a supportive church family. By providing safe spaces for dialogue, creating strong relationships with community resources and collectively taking a stand against gender-based violence, survivors find comfort and healing as part of a Christian community.

“No longer will violence be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction within your borders, but you will call your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.” Isaiah 60:18
